Konnichiwa!

For those who enjoyed the majestic Japanese traditional dance ODORI, by Nishikawa-ryu at Asian Civilization Museum (ACM) this weekend, thank you very much for your passion and interest. As one of the kick-off events of our"SJ50", commemorating next year's 50th anniversary of Singapore-Japan Diplomatic Relations, we were delighted to be able to present this precious occasion to you at one of the historical buildings in Singapore. I heard that Nishikawa-ryu were the first group of dancers who performed at the gallery within ACM who celebrates this year, their 150 years of history!

In the latter half of this month October, we will present "Listen, Watch and Talk about Haruki Murakami" in collaboration with the Japan Foundation at Victoria Theatre, Esplanade and Singapore Writer’s Festival. I am greatly looking forward to this as it is one of the highlights of our pre-events of SJ50 here in Singapore. Partnership is more important than anything else in making these events successful, thus we are fortunate that there many  wonderful partners in Singapore, willing to create meaningful moments with us!

See you soon!

5th October, 2015
